Dr. Chen has 25 Years experience in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Dr. Chen received his M.D. from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency training in the First Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine in 1997 and his fellowship in Chinese and Western Integrative Medicine in Guang’anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in 2000. Dr. Chen has been the Director of the Outpatient Department in Haidian Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China, and a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Chinese Medical Studies, Singapore.

Dr. Chen also holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, where he applied cutting-edge technologies to investigate the immunomodulatory properties of wolfberry, a Chinese medicinal herb that has been used over thousands of years. Dr. Chen has conducted postdoctoral research at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health for five years focusing on the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines for the treatment of cervical cancer. Dr. Chen has authored about twenty peer reviewed scientific articles in the prestigious national and international journals in the fields of Chinese medicine and Immunology.
